I had just begun designing this prayer journal and I was with my friend in Charleston. I was talking with her about coming up with an acrostic to help others remember to linger in God’s presence. I am passionate about this because this lingering transformed my life and helped shape the woman of God I am today.
When writing the journal PALMS Prayers I remembered the strength of the palm trees in the revolutionary war and how the palm trunks were strength in stopping the cannon balls hitting the American soil in Charleston Harbor.
My prayer is that this journal will strengthen your prayer life and help you as you linger in the presence of God. Choose the way this lingering looks for you depending on your season of life. The front introduction section guides the person seeking prayer by giving examples on how to fill out this journal and additional tips for prayer each day.
May you find that prioritizing time with God brings you a new sense of peace.
Praying for you today.
Shalom and blessings,
Sharon
